Meet your wedding filmmaker

I shot my first wedding back in high school on a borrowed handycam. There is no way on earth I would ever show anyone that footage (if I even could) but I like to think I’ve learned a few things in over a decade of working as a professional filmmaker!

I really love documentary storytelling and capturing the small (and big) moments as they happen. I am a cinematographer by trade and have an observational + natural approach to how I shoot.

I like to bring a relaxed and fun vibe to wedding days while also being as unnoticeable as possible - the day is about you two and your family + friends.

I am based in Geelong, but regularly work across the great state of Victoria and beyond. Having grown up around Bendigo I still spend a lot of time working in that region, as well as around Melbourne.

In 2022 my wife Emma and I bought a caravan and started traveling all around Australia. This was an absolutely amazing experience that I can 100% recommend, but in order to travel we stopped taking new bookings from 2021. (If you’re eager eyed this also explains the big gap on the Paper Lion insta!)

Now that we’re back in one place and a little less nomadic I’ve decided to start taking on weddings again in 2025. What does this mean? I’ve got stacks of available dates so definitely get in touch even if you’ve got a date coming up soon.
